The seamless lines of this bespoke, split level, solid surface reception desk with sweeping, curved stairs and serpentine feature bench section, allowed Clarke Rendall to bring some distinctively 21st Century styling to a classic 17th Century building in the heart of London’s historic Covent Garden.

Finished in HI-MACS® Andromeda, quarter cut oak veneer and antique brass, the reception counter spans nearly 6m with an “Iron Grey, Crest Leather” desktop and is completed opposite, by an even longer bespoke seating installation featuring a custom made, curved glazing balustrade. Hale Bown Architects' innovative design called for Clarke Rendall to fabricate an internal moisture resistant shuttering frame in preparation for filling with the several cubic metres of concrete the structure demanded.

Subtle finishing details include an internally wrapped solid surface, pocket hand rail, antique brass feature inlay, and hours of HI-MACS® site seaming. The resulting interior provides an ideal reception area scheme for these newly refurbished high end serviced offices.
